Capital District Technical Calendar
The Albany Society of
Engineers invites you to have your meetings and any special events your
organization is planning listed on the new CAPITAL DISTRICT
TECHNICAL CALENDAR. This
calendar has been started by the Albany Society of Engineers to
provide a means for publicizing the technical meetings and related events
that were previously shown in the calendar of the Eastern New York Technical
Council. Since the Council has
ceased operations, the calendar it maintained is no longer available.
The CAPITAL DISTRICT TECHNICAL
CALENDAR is available to anyone on the website of the Albany Society of
Engineers. At this time the website has listings of meetings for several
organizations and a number of special events.
You may provide information to the
calendar by sending it to Bob
Kamp in the format shown in the calendar.
Bob will edit the information, if needed, and forward it to the webmaster
for the Society who will put it on the website.
THERE
IS NO COST FOR THIS SERVICE, but we do ask you to do the following things.

List a meeting or event as soon as the date is known.
All that is needed to start the listing is the name of the
organization, the date of the meeting and a contact person with their e-mail
address and telephone number. Send
information in Arial 10 font, if possible.
- Provide additional
information as it becomes available.

Publicize the availability of the calendar in your newsletter so your
members can look at the calendar and see what the technical community of the
area is doing.

Suggest other organizations that might be interested in listing their
meetings and events in the calendar. Provide
Bob with an organization name, a contact in the organization and their e-mail
address.
Note that the calendar includes the
number of PDH’s available for each event.
This is done to assist those needing continuing education credits for
maintaining professional licensure in seeing where they are available.
